The CCACC Health Center, a subsidiary of CCACC, held a grand opening ceremony at its new location on December 10, 2024, at 2 p.m., marking a significant milestone in its growth. The CCACC Health Center (aka. Pan-Asian Clinic), a vital part of CCACC, will continue to serve Montgomery County residents with enhanced facilities and a more welcoming environment.
A Modernized Clinic for Better Patient Care
Stepping into the new Pan-Asian Clinic, visitors are welcomed by a spacious outpatient coordination and reception area with a sleek, modern design. The clinic now features:
Six examination rooms
One treatment room
One laboratory/blood-drawing room
One rehabilitation room
Two new meeting rooms for internal collaboration
These upgraded facilities not only improve the efficiency of medical consultations but also significantly enhance the patient experience.
Expanded Rehabilitation Services
A standout feature of the new site is the larger, state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Room, designed to accommodate more patients in a comfortable and well-equipped space. This expansion addresses a long-standing limitation—rehabilitation services previously operated from Room 156B at the CCACC Joyful Day Health Center due to space constraints. Now, with dedicated facilities, patients can receive care more effectively in a setting designed for optimal recovery.
New Pharmacy Services and Future Expansion Plans
To better serve the community, the clinic has launched a new pharmacy service, featuring Chinese-speaking pharmacists to help bridge language barriers when filling prescriptions. Looking ahead, the clinic plans to expand its dental services to meet increasing demand and provide comprehensive oral health care.
A Legacy of Service and Innovation
Since its inception, the CCACC Health Center has grown from a small mobile clinic with three rotating doctors into a leading medical institution in Montgomery County. Over the past decade, it has broadened its scope beyond primary care, introducing key medical and social initiatives, including:
Hepatitis B “Stop B” Prevention Program
Chronic Disease Care Management
Promise Special Education Program for Children
Mental Health 360 (est. 2015)—providing specialized mental health support for the Asian community, addressing a critical service gap.
A Joyous Celebration for the Community
The grand opening was attended by CCACC President Ms. Rita Lewi, Chairman Dr. Yuchi Huang, and Vice Chairman Ms. Chang Zhao, alongside center staff and community members. Guests toured the state-of-the-art facilities, enjoyed light refreshments, and shared their excitement for the clinic’s future. The warm and celebratory atmosphere reflected the strong community bonds and shared commitment to healthcare excellence.
